Let’s talk about what we know about money. We all need to be paid for our time. Within our Nashville community, if we’re unorganized constituents, who’s job is it supposed to be to get us organized so that we can get our needs met? Well, we’ve made that our job. And just like how politicians get paid to do their job, and you get paid to do your job, community organizers should get paid to do our necessary work as well. We are community organizers, as are the grassroots Black-led organizations we are here to hold you accountable too. Get used to paying your organizers. #payyourorganizers

    We’re an anti-capitalist organization, and a pro-reality organization and here we are living in a capitalist society, so yeah, we will be paid. We also understand that you live in this capitalist society too, and we have no plans to exclude folx who cannot afford to pay full price.
